January Chai Chat

NetSAP Boston Presents: 'Chai Chat' with Sunil Lala!

The reasons, conseqeunces, and justifications for stereotypes in the South East Asian Community

Netsap boston invites you to join first Chai Chat of 2008 at News Lounge on Sunday January 13th at 3:30pm.

  • Have you ever been Categorized as a FOB or ABCD?

  • Have you ever categorized someone else?

  • Ever wondered how these acronyms were formed and what they mean?

  • Ever wondered what the consequences of these stereotypes can be on individuals and community?

If you have ever pondered upon these questions, then come share your opinion with other South East Asian professionals like you at the News Lounge.

Whether you identify yourself as a "FOB", an "ABCD" or someone in the middle, come to Chai Chat: good coffee, good people, a bit of controversy and a great enticing conversation!

Joining the discussion will be Sunil Lala, author of American Khichdi. He will be introducing his new book and sharing his experiences as an Indian American.
