Join the NetSAP Team in this 5 mile walk that will create awareness and raise funds that will help provide Food for poor & under-priviledged children in India for their life.

You will walk 5 miles as a part of the NetSAP team that will help to raise funds as well as create awareness. All funds raised from the Akshaya this walk-a-thon will go towards Akshaya Patra's goal of feeding one million children in India by 2010. Akshaya Patra addresses two of the most immediate challenges India faces - hunger and education. By implementing a school lunch program, Akshaya Patra provides meals to over 800,000 children in India. A daily meal for a child costs less than 13 cents per day or 28 dollars per year.

The NetSAP-Boston board encourages its members to join in this responsibility of caring for the uncared by participating in this walk. NetSAP members will receive a walk T-shirt and a discount on the registration fees.

NetSAP-Boston recommends a minimum donation of $20 each for the walk. NetSAP-Boston will contribute a minimum of $400 to the cause. Help us raise funds!
