Our panelists are Alumni from Top BSchools such as HBS, Sloan, GSB, BC. They will share their experiences and give you insight into the focus areas at top business schools which will help you identify areas from your own experience that you can highlight in your application. Know your career options after an MBA and how an MBA can change your life.

We also have, Sandy Kreisberg, a frequently cited business school admissions expert who has assisted hundreds of applicants be placed at schools such as Harvard, Wharton, Stanford, and Sloan. He will provide you with the tone, sensibility, and ethos that each school looks for in an essay.

    Panelist Bios:
    Al Kapoor, President, Millennium Ventures. Al Kapoor is the president of Millennium Ventures. He has created and transformed many enterprises. His ideas have turned into useful products, processes and enterprises. Formerly a technical leader at Cummins Engine Company and an advisor to senior executives at BMW, Al architects and oversees the growth of the portfolio companies. Al was inducted into the National Honor Scientific Research Society in 1991, Young Presidents' Organization in 1999, and National Register's Who's Who in 2005. He has an MBA from Harvard University, a MS degree from Iowa State University and a BS in technology from IIT - an institute that CBS 60 Minutes boasts as one of the most intellectually rigorous. His prior article and case study on new endeavors have been published by Harvard University and Harvard Business School. Al co-chairs the VC forum at TiE, one of the world's largest entrepreneurial organization that uses over 5% of US venture capital deployed. Al, along with Mike Roberts (Executive Director of Arthur Rock Center) is the founder and also Chair-Programs of the HBS Entrepreneurial Alumni Association.
     
    Anu Chitrapu, Alumni, MIT Sloan. Anu Chitrapu holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management. Prior to Sloan, Anu worked in Product Marketing and Business Development at CellExchange, Endeca and iBelong.
    While at Sloan, Anu was editor of the Sloan newspaper, VP in the Social Entrepreneurship Club and maintained a very highly visited journal on the Sloan admissions site. In addition, she was a teaching assistant for “Global Markets” and also a new course on India & China. After Sloan Anu will be part of the Wealth & Investment Management group at Bank of America.
    With a degree in Physics from India and an MS in Information Systems from the University of Texas, Anu has several years of experience in the Enterprise Software space. On a personal note, Anu is a writer of contemporary fiction and some of her recent work can be found at www.sulekha.com. Anu is an active member and current chair of the TiE Women’s Initiative. Anu’s interests include Entrepreneurship in Developing countries and Public-Private sector partnerships.
     
    Kiran Ganda, Alumni, Boston College. Kiran Ganda received her MBA from Boston College in 2004 with a concentration in Marketing. Prior to obtaining her MBA, she worked for Brodeur Worldwide, an international public relations firm, in the Health Technology Practice. After realizing that she wanted to expand her skill set and move towards the broader job function of marketing communications, which includes public relations, she decided to enroll in a full-time MBA program. While at Boston College, Kiran held internships with Mount Vernon Strategies and the Risk Management Foundation. She currently works as Senior Associate, Marketing for a healthcare management firm in Boston. Kiran received her undergraduate degree from Tufts University, with a double major in Psychology and Community Health and a minor in Economics
     
    Puja Sehgal, Alumni, HBS. Puja Sehgal is a recent graduate of the Harvard Business School, and will be joining Corporate Executive Board’s HR practice this fall.  Puja helped start the Human Capital Management Club at HBS as a result of her passions in HR and organizational change.  She also spent her HBS summer internship at Deloitte Consulting in their Human Capital practice.  Prior to school, Puja was an Assistant Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble.  She developed her marketing expertise through a range of experiences in pharmaceuticals, teen marketing, and Crest Whitestrips over a five year period.  She was also strong advocate for Asians at Procter & Gamble and in the community through her leadership of the Asian Advertising Leadership Team and as one of the founders of Indus Women Leaders.  Puja completed her B.S. in mechanical engineering at the University of Cincinnati with honors and stays connected to the Cincinnati community even from Boston.  She enjoys playing soccer, working out, dancing, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.   
     
    Sanford Kreisberg, Founder, Cambridge Essay Services. Sandy is the founder of Cambridge Essay Services, an admissions consulting firm for applicants to elite business schools. Since 1995, Sandy has helped place hundreds of applicants into such leading business schools as Harvard Business School, Wharton, Stanford, Sloan, Columbia, Kellogg and Chicago. The Improper Bostonian noted that "His savvy with regard to elite programs--including (but not only) those at Harvard, Stanford and Penn's Wharton School--encompasses the particular tone, sensibility and ethos that each school looks for in an essay."
    Sandy is frequently cited as an expert on admissions to MBA programs. He has been featured in articles in the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and the Harvard Crimson. Sandy also appeared on The Today Show on CBS in 2005.
    Sandy is the former Director of Communications at the MIT-Sloan Business School and taught Expository Writing at Harvard for eight years, specializing in the personal essay. He holds an M.A. in English Literature from Harvard
